Jaye Ballard

Jaye Ballard is Of Counsel to the firm, appearing on matters in both Supreme Court and Family Court for conferences, motions and trial work.

Mr. Ballard has been practicing law for 22 years. He has been a member of the New York County Assigned Counsel Criminal Panel since 1999, The New York County Integrated Domestic Violence Panel since 2007, The Parole Panel since 2008 and the New York County Family Court Panel since 2008. He is a former Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, and currently serves as Senior In-House Counsel for Vibe Lifestyle Network and Uptown Media Group. He is admitted to practice in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Ballard has served as lead trial counsel in federal and state cases including but not limited to, complex family court and matrimonial cases, murder cases, complex federal and state narcotic conspiracies, bank, wire and credit fraud cases, federal and state firearm cases, complex civil matters, , and a variety of other federal and state cases.

Mr. Ballard was also selected in 2010 to serve as a New York State Attorney/Arbitrator in the Small Claims Court of the Second Department and recently was selected to serve as a member of the Kings County Supreme Court Judicial Screening committee.
